Making a purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. All prices are reflected in £UK Sterling including VAT, providing delivery is to a location in the UK. Orders outside of the United Kingdom may be subject to an additional charge. We are under no obligation to accept your order, but would normally do so where the product is available, the order reflects current pricing and your credit card/ debit card payment is approved by your credit card/ debit card company. We will notify you of our acceptance of your order by email shortly after we receive it.

Payment of goods

You may pay for your goods using major credit and debit cards; Visa, MasterCard, Switch. Secure servers offer Parchment Ltd customers the highest level of security when entering credit card details over the Internet. When placing an order all credit card numbers are entered on to a secure merchant account site. The only information that Parchment Ltd holds is name, address, phone number etc. All credit/debit card purchases are subject to the normal validation checks and authorisation procedures adopted by the card issuer. Any refusal by the issuer of any payment card to authorise the payment to us, for any reason, will not render Parchment Ltd liable for any delay or non-delivery.

Returns

These are the terms and conditions of our agreement that apply to all purchases of products by you from Parchment Ltd web site and you should read them carefully.

We understand that buying over the internet you are not able to fully asses the quality of our goods and it may put you off buying them, that's why we offer a free exchange/refund service for what ever reason. All we ask is that products are returned within 14 days and that they must be unused and in their original packaging. All tags and labels must still be attached and in their original packaging. Products must be unused.

ITEMS NOT RETURNED IN THIS CONDITION WILL NOT BE EXCHANGED/REFUNDED AND WILL BE RETURNED TO THE CUSTOMER.

Once items have been received by Parchment Ltd the monies paid for the item will be credited to your account or a cheque sent out to you depending on original payment method.

Please ensure that you have proof of postage from your Post Office.

Delivery

Orders will be despatched within 4 days of receipt, subject to payment and the item being in stock. Should an item be temporarily out of stock we will advise you of the estimated delivery date.

Postage and packing charges for all UK orders dispatched directly by Parchment are £3.50 or £5.00 depending on the weight of your order. If you require faster delivery we can arrange Express Delivery. Please call for rates or request it in the comments box when placing your order.

Books and Flowers orders are subject to the Terms and Conditions of our partners.

Orders will be sent by first Class Royal Mail, please allow 5 to 10 days for delivery. Special delivery is advised for orders placed less than 10 days before a Special Occasion. For UK orders the charge is £6.50. Orders will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery to arrive before noon next day. If your order is despatched on a Friday the delivery is guaranteed for Monday not Saturday.

Typically we will ask for your name, telephone number, home address and email address when orders are placed. For payment purposes we will require postal addresses and payment method details. Parchment Ltd does not disclose buyer’s information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item.
